Free & Accepted Masons of Washington

Our Lodge is one of the oldest masonic lodges in the greater Seattle area. We have been active since 1891, starting just one year after Ballard declared itself a city. Today, we are still very much committed to playing an active and supportive role of the our community.

Freemasons History

LEARN MORE

Freemasons traditions can be traced directly to the associations of operative masons. Some would even date Masonry back to the building of King Solomon's Temple as represented in the Bible.

Stated Meetings

Occidental Lodge meets the third Thursday of every month except July and August. If you are interested in our craft join us for dinner any of those nights, doors open at 6:00, dinner is at 6:30. Our Stated meeting is for Freemasons only and starts promptly at 7:30pm.

Fisherman's Fall Festival

Occidental Lodge is supporting Fisherman’s Fall Festival this year! If you like that hot alder smoked salmon that pops up in Ballard once a year we’ll be cooking it up at Fisherman’s Terminal on September 30th. Come support our seafood industry, Fisherman’s memorial and Ballard history.

Installation of Officers

Our installation of officers will be Friday, December 1st at 7:00pm. At this time we are planning to have it for Freemasons only. We would love for Brothers to attend and support our line.
